Dr. Carlos Rotellar is a board-certified nephrologist whose approach to patient care is impeccable. His astrophotography is truly out of this world.
Carlos Rotellar, M.D.
Dr Rotellar obtained his medical degree from the University of Barcelona, Spain. After becoming a nephrologist, he spent a year in both London, England and Paris, France to further specialize. He then completed a Nephrology fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC. He joined the Georgetown faculty for seven years before moving to Bowling Green to practice nephrology.
Dr Rotellar is married and has two daughters and two granddaughters. He became interested in astrophotography after the total solar eclipse in 2017. Since then, he has been taking images of the sky from his driveway. He also enjoys pencil drawing, tennis, pickle ball, skiing and reading. He has also written multiple medical papers and a children’s book.
