Dr Jennifer Shuemaker

Dr. Jen Shuemaker completed medical school at the University of Louisville. She did her internship, residency, and nephrology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She moved to Bowling Green after completing her fellowship to join this medical practice. She is originally from Bowling Green and enjoys serving her community as a nephrologist. She teaches nephrology to medical students and Internal Medicine residents with her affiliation with the UK College of Medicine. She has a joy and love of teaching. As her patient, you will encounter residents and students with her in her office and on hospital rounds.

Dr. Shuemaker currently lives and works within the community with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor sports, reading, church, and family life.
